Michael Mizrachi Bluffs Out George MillerWith the board showing A-6-3-8 on the turn, Michael Mizrachi puts $200,000 worth of pressure on George Miller, who thinks for a while before saying, "Take it down," and showing pocket queens. Mizrachi shows 4-3 for bottom pair.
This guy is my new favorite player.

After a flop of 9-4-3 with two hearts, Bob Stupak is all in with pocket sevens against Phil Ivey's Q-9 of hearts -- giving Ivey top pair with a flush draw. Stupak needs a seven to stay alive, but the 6 on the turn is close enough to give him a gut-shot straight draw. Needing a five or a seven, he watches a jack fall on the river, and Bob Stupak is eliminated in 27th place, earning $56,615. Phil Ivey has increased his huge stack of chips to $2,600,000, at a time when the average stack is about $870,000.

Gotta feel bad for Mark Rose, Victor Ramdin, John Smith and Bo Stehlsted. The other half of the table behind them is Ivey, Tuan Le, Jesus, and the Grinder in that order. Gotta be one of the roughest late tourney tables I've seen in awhile...

What happened to DW? He was toward the top and in the matter of a few minutes he was at the bottom. One update said he got crushed in a 7ook pot.

Ferguson Takes a Huge Pot From Tuan LeLog: Tuan Le raises to $60,000 preflop from the button, and Chris Ferguson raises it to $200,000 even. Tuan Le calls. The flop comes 10s-4c-3s, Ferguson checks, Tuan Le bets $200,000, and Ferguson calls. The turn card is the Qd, and Ferguson checks again. Tuan Le bets $200,000 again, but this time Ferguson thinks for 3-4 minutes before pushing all in for roughly another $600,000. Now it's Tuan Le's turn to think, and he ponders the situation for several minutes before mucking his hand. Chris Ferguson wins the million-dollar pot, and increases his chip stack to $1,600,000.w00t
