Yahkin 0
ATC really.I would have played it similiarly, except I probably raise the turn so I can get all my chips in the middle on the river.34s FTW?
timwakefield 68
Yeah I don't like the way you played it at all. I would often raise the flop, but failing that you HAVE to raise the turn, especially first hand of a tourney (no reads). Otherwise you're just letting a draw get there, and you'll pay him off. By the time you actually did raise, you're mostly only getting action from hands that beat you.The way you played it I really don't like the river raise - you should just call. You have no idea where you are in the hand, and if villain happened to push all in there you're making either a crying call or a hero fold. Again though, flat calling the turn is just bad IMO. From the river action I can't really put villain on a hand - and it looks like you're winning the pot. I'm guessing he has 87 or something and decided to pay you off. biggs88 0
Raise the flop, turn and the river (if you aren't already all-in). This is a cooler and there's no reason why you shouldn't go broke here.
StupidKid 0
there's no reason why you shouldn't go broke here. You should have gone broke here, And all the money should have gone in, set over set is sick and something that can't be avoided, While you were beat in this scenario, get money in with a set is definitely in the longterm huge +EV.
