wtf!!! Let's be serious here, Kelly can't be beatin any event, I'm leaving for Las Vegas in 18 hours!!!!!!!
  3. Thanks for all of the good wishes! As mentioned, I'm really just trying to finish. I was an ok runner in hs (definitely not as good as socdave), stopped cold for many years, and then got back into it about two years ago. I ran my first 1/2 marathon in July in just over 1:45, so I'm hoping to finish in under 4 hours, but this may be ambitious.Pupsta - thanks for the O8 tips! I was attracted by the low limits at Orleans (and perhaps the prospect of bowling), but it sounds like I should stay away.
  4. Time for a bump. My training is nearly over, and the plane leaves in less than a week!!!I am also looking for a fancy dinner recommendation (we have all but one night locked up). We were going to Alex at the Wynn but they are on vacation. Any thoughts appreciated!

Just over $693 (there were 126 players in the tournament). 6-handed play was fun, but the number of people bitching about loose play was amazing. After all, it was limit and 6-handed is just generally loose. We were down to 3 or 4 handed, I got down to just around $10K in chips, but then suddenly started winning every hand and it was all downhill from there. Pretty sweet!

Well, I took it down!!!! I think this might be my biggest cash ever. I sure am glad I decided to pay a visit to the Hideout tonight after an absence (marathon training; race is next Sunday), even though Jokerstars definitely screwed Hanguk over; their response was ridiculous. Here is the final hand of my tourney:PokerStars Game #7278251605: Tournament #36701603, $20+$2 Omaha Hi/Lo Limit - Level XV (4000/8000) - 2006/12/03 - 02:08:10 (ET)Table '36701603 2' 6-max Seat #3 is the buttonSeat 3: j-f boubou (35672 in chips) Seat 5: pmk-one (153328 in chips) j-f boubou: posts small blind 2000pmk-on

That's probably right. I think it is only notable in Omaha when the flop comes in some variation of the Krablar. In any event, I made the money in this 20+2 PLO8 tourney, but am not sitting with a lot of chips!

    Disappointed by the Krablar (probably should've bet the flop, but I think that would've given away my hand):PokerStars Game #7273144603: Tournament #36701561, $20+$2 Omaha Hi/Lo Pot Limit - Level VIII (200/400) - 2006/12/02 - 19:31:29 (ET)Table '36701561 32' 9-max Seat #8 is the buttonSeat 1: cane3418 (21371 in chips) Seat 2: MetsFan555 (12531 in chips) Seat 3: Buntysdad (8516 in chips) Seat 4: jitterbug777 (4441 in chips) Seat 5: JareemWeaver (1441 in chips) Seat 6: marcomsh (14563 in chips) Seat 7: pmk-one (10048 in chips) Seat 8: charliehalf (3806 in chips) Seat 9: robson2004 (9501 in chips
  13. Excellent point. I am out in 62nd and won -$.50.
  14. Thanks to all for the words of encouragement and the O8 tips! Last time I was there (in January), there were spreading 2/4 O8 at Aladdin. Has anyone seen this lately? This running stuff is pretty new to me, and I'm fairly old myself (at least by FCP standards!). Sahara is one of my favorite haunts, and it would be great to meet a fellow FCPer. I think the link is now fixed, but the blogger site has been slow the last day or two. GL with the running! Finishing is definitely my only goal for this first one. I've heard that the first 20 miles are basically a warm up and the "race" doesn't
  15. As some of you know, two weeks from today I will be arriving in Las Vegas to run the Las Vegas Marathon on December 10 (for updates on my training, check out my running blog at http://pmk-one.blogspot.com. I will of course be on a strict regimen until the race is over which makes me pretty jealous since my friends will be going to see Prince on Saturday night at Rio. Once the race is over, however, it will be time to party and donk it up on some low stakes tables, particularly Omaha8 if anyone knows where it is being spread these days.I would also be interested in grabbing drinks or playing

Anyone wanna join me in the 10+1 HORSE tourney on Stars? It's starting in about 15 minutes.
  19. I am having the same problem this morning.Bob, I am also having another problem. I have no pending bonuses, but still have some money that can be cleared, but everytime (this has been persisting for several weeks) I try to transfer bonus money into the poker account, it tells me that I cannot because I have two poker bonuses pending. Please let me know how I can get around this. Thanks in advance
