  1. In my limited experience, I think you see Ak here a lot.
  2. I think calling two cold is bad here. I'm definitely not against folding, especially after mp2 cold-called pf, and then raised after the flop. However, I have to say that if it's me, I 3-bet every time.
  3. I also like to waste BBs to see other player's hands.
  4. Is this even a remotely valid way to play this? Should I have folded somewhere? Should I have raised somewhere?Utg+1 is 64/13/0.8Mp1 is 12/7/2.6Mp2 is new to the table < 15 hands Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cxPreflop: Hero is BB with [Tc], [Td]. 5. I never meant to imply that I thought villian played incorrectly. I was just checking to see if there was a better way for me to play this river.
  6. Oh, I'm not complaining about losing the pot, I just wanted to make sure I played it correctly.
  7. lol....River play:Hero bets, Button Raises, Hero throws up a little bit in his mouth, but calls anyways.Button shows Ad4d for the nut flush.

  9. I usually play 1/2 at party, but after 8k hands playing exactly by the chart I'm 17/7.3/2.08Also, while I'm on the topic of my less-than-perfect stats (I know stats are not the be-all-end-all), my aggro stats are a bit backasswards. Aggression is supposed to go down from flop-river, correct? My Agg stats areFlop - 1.87Turn - 2.10River - 2.54I'm not sure what this means of my play, or reasons that my stats might be this way. Any, help would be appreciated.
  10. sorry for the retarded question, but what is wa/wb?
  11. I usually don't even play K8s outside of the blinds.
  12. I'm still relatively new to the game, and I'm just starting to take off my training wheels (SSHE Starting Hand Chart). I've been looking at my stats on poker tracker, and while I know I shouldn't change my play to fix my stats, I've noticed something that's a bit off. After about 8k hands, my prf is only 7.4%. I understand that I am missing out on some serious pre-flop equity and my number should be a good bit higher. How often should I be raising, first in, in middle and late positions (always?)? If it's a hand I would normally limp (via the starting hand chart) should I start open raisi
  13. This is a situation that I am in currently, and that I tend to find myself in a lot...I'm playing 1/2 at party, I've got position on an extremely LPP (59/0/.71), and I'm up about 30 BB. This was a relatively juicy table for about 30-45 minutes w/ a VP$IP of about 29-31. There was one known TAG at the table when I first started playing. Now there are 4. Their positions are 2,4,5,6 seats to my left. The VP$IP of the table has gone down to 22. When is it time to pack it up and find a better table?Edit: Not a minute after I posted this, my donator left the table, and so did I. But the ques
  14. Can anyone give some reading material suggestions for those of us (i.e. me) who are just starting to learn to play stud and stud hi-lo at low limits online? Thanks,Matt
  15. Will do Actuary. But at least I used a converter this time!If online play weren't timed, or if I wasn't playing another table, I would have definitely 3 bet the flop. As it stands, I was still thinking, but not quite sure what to do, and I panicked and just hit call so the hand wasn't auto-folded. Any turn suggestions as played? I guess I could bet the river for value there, but at that point, because of how I played the flop, I wasn't sure exactly where I was at and I took the free sd.
  16. UTG+2 is 22/13/3.02 after 320 handsSB is 49/9/1.69 only 35 hands thoughI'm sure I didn't play a single street correctly.Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cxPreflop: Hero is Button with A:diamond:, A:spade:. 2 folds, UTG+2 raises, 4 folds, Hero 3-bets, SB calls, 1 fold, UTG+2 calls.Flop: (10 SB) K:club:, K:spade:, 3:club: (3 players)SB bets, UTG+2 raises, Hero calls, SB calls.Turn: (8 BB) 4:club: (3 players)SB bets, UTG+2 calls, Hero calls.River: (11 BB) Q:spade: (3 players)SB checks, UTG+2 checks, Hero checks.Final Pot: 11 BB
  17. when do you start to get a more concrete idea, 25k, 100k, never? After how many hands/how many BB won, is it safe to consider testing higher limits? I'm not considering moving up anything for a long time, but I'd like to have some numbers in mind to have something to shoot for.
  18. I've recently moved up to a new limit, and I'm anxious to know how I'm doing. Of course I understand that now, after only 1500 hands, there is no purpose in even stressing over statistics on poker tracker. When though, is it appropriate to begin approximating, and looking at things like "true" winrate, etc? I.e. when do my stats become relevant? Thanks,Matt
  19. why not reraise pf?So he gets someone playing AJ to hit their Jack and the proceed to get all their money in as a huge dog.what happens when they hit their ace? and does this happen enough to make it worth it?
  20. it's all dependent on that opponent. How many hands was this over?If 30 hands, then fodl preflop, if 300 hands, then 3-bet's ok, especially if it isolates you.But you really want to 3-bet this guy when you have pos, not from the SB. His stats are so maniacal; however, you probably do ok with KJ off even out of pos.coverter makes it nice huh?converter is great, thanks for helping me find it. the reason I cold-called (something I rarely do) is that I believed if I 3 bet, no matter what villian is holding, it gets capped. I don't think he knew how to push a button other than bet/raise
  21. superbob shows [ 4c, Tc ] two pairs, tens and fourshero shows [ Jh, Ks ] two pairs, kings and jacks.chillrob doesn't show [ Jc, Th ] two pairs, jacks and tens.hero wins $57 from the main pot with two pairs, kings and jacks.Obviously results oriented, it worked out okay, but I never felt like I played it right. If I think this hand is too good to lay down against villian, I should have 3 bet, yes?
