  1. I know this question has been asked a million times, but I was wondering what everything thinks is the best limit holdem book on the market. I have Super System I, which has a pretty good section, but I know other people have had great success with other books. I have pretty much played NL for all the time I've been playing holdem and I've recently discovered the profitability in limit. I don't see my self playing much higher than 3/6 or 5/10 for the time being (most of this online, although some in actual b/m card rooms). So, if there is a really good book out there to help players beat t
  2. I would like a referral to titan poker. Is there anyone that would give me their screen name so I can refer them and we both get the bonus. First person who replies wins.Chico
  3. What are the requirements for the stt's to win the bonus on either of those sites? I find it hard to believe that someone who wins seven five dollar tourneys at noble poker is going to be freely given a million bucks. If thats that case, why not play them all day every day and try to go on a huge rush? The question is, does it require that you have to spend a certain amount of money on these stt's? Also, is there a certain number of minimum players? Heads up is basically a stt and so is a nine man. Bottom line, whats the real scoop? Thanks,Chico
  4. I'm sorry if this question has already been addressed, but I was curious if there is a general standard as to how often a good player will make the money in mtt's. I have found that i really enjoy playing in mtt's w/ slow blind structures. They fit my schedule well and i enjoy playing in them and am thinking about playing more of them than anything (online at least). My question is, for people who like to play in these, about how often should you make the money in order for it to be profitable in the long run. I realize that cash games are more profitable than tourneys but mtt's are more f
  5. Could someone please post a link to smash's originally posted theory? Thanks
  6. Other than Pacific Poker, what sites have instant bonuses? I realize that this money cannot be cashed out until certain requirements are met, but I like the fact that you get the money to play with rather than trying to earn it from a separate account. If anyone knows of a site like this, feel free to refer me (PM me and give me your info). Thanks,Chico
  7. I would really like to know what percentage the government takes of the prize money in a major tournament. I would also like for someone who either works for the government or who knows our tax laws well to explain to me why there is a tax on money that has already been taxed??? It does not make sense to me that a bunch of people can throw income that has already been taxed into a prize pool only to have it taxed again when it is split up differently. Chico
  8. Hello all, I currently play at Pacific Poker, but would like to branch out some. However, I am 8 months shy of 21 and am looking for decent sites that I can legally play on. Yes, I know that I could just lie and say I'm 21, but that's not the way I like to go about things. If anyone knows of any good sites for kids my age other than Pacific, I'd love to be referred. Thanks,Chico
