  4. I know, my first year loans are exceeding $100,000 but hey what can you do? I enjoy the scenary here though, so i guess it's worth it.I'm studying from Emanuels crunch time. It's pretty good, with flow charts and exam tips. The exam is just 30 percent of the final grade. But anyway, you're lucky you're done with your first year. And yeah, fasion square is nice. I live like 2 minutes from it so it's kind of hard to stay away. It is also another thing contributing to the dissipation of my student loans.
  5. I have the same problem as you. I have a graded midterm tomorrow for civ. pro. and cannot stop either playing or talking about poker here. So, I think you encouraged me to go and ban myself from PP forever. The site sucks anyway, since you get more bad beats and improbable draws than anyplace else.Which law school do you go to? Sam A.
  6. Are you saying that the no limit game at MGM easier to beat than the ones at Bellagio???I just got back from vegas and I don't think i've ever played in an easier game than the 2-5 no limit game there. However, the no limit games at the Wynn are much harder to beat although still very much beatable. Unfortunately Daniel wasn't there the day i was there, so that sucked...Let me know how MGM game difficulty compares to Bellagio, because if it's any easier, i might just move to vegas.
  7. Hi everyone:I am just writing this to get some opinions from you guys regarding my vegas vacation. I'm leaving tomorrow and I'm looking to play with 1000 dollars. I don't care if I lose, but I want to give myself a good chance of at least doubling or trippling my money.I'm mostly a no limit player but just due to the fact that I find limit too structured and boring after 8 or 9 hours of playing. So I guess I have more focus playing no limit. I was looking to play the no limit game at the Wynn. They have three games: 1-2 blinds, 2-5 blinds, and 10-20 blinds.Any ideas???Also, what tournamen
  8. Hey, this game didn't happen to be around north phoenix, did it?I know a couple of guys who pull things like that, couple of them brothers also. What are these guys names? just curious to see if it's them.P.S. I live in phoenix, but in case you're wondering about my location, i'm moving to San Diego in two weeks.
  9. I'm just wondering what your rationalization is for believing that in the future years the fields will be smaller in the WSOP?I've heard some people make that argument that the WSOP is at its peak and will be smaller in the future. What's the reasoning?Let me know
  10. I'm just wondering if anyone has ever bought anything from Moneymaker Gaming or not??I used to have nothing against Chris Moneymaker, his not so good poker skills, and the fact that he got popular basically because of getting lucky in one tournament, but now my opinion has changed since my experience with his website.I purchased something from Moneymaker gaming, and after paying for it, I still have not received it after months. I tried contacting their customer care line and noone returned my call. So along with being everything else, in my eyes he's a thief!!!What do the rest of you think?
  11. Just making sure.On second note, I'm a former Ontario resident also. Richmond Hills, Toronto to be exact. Just thought I'd mention that.
  12. How does he get a straight in the first hand???Flop: A J 5 Turn: 8 River: 5How does 2 3 make a straight with this board???
  13. No play in partypoker really surprises me. There are some interesting players on party poker who call any bet with any two cards. Forget odds and all that in partypoker, because your AK has as much posibility of winning as someone else's 2 7 offsuit. I've lost hands that are just amazing. More runner runners in one day in partypoker than i've seen all my life playing in the casinos.Basically, it's nothing new at partypoker.
  14. I used to live in Toronto. I've played in Rama and i have to say the poker room is not impresive at all. I hated the games, and the fact that there are 11 players on each table!!!Also, they take 5 bucks from each person every half hour as the rake, which is unusual based on the other casinos i've played at , i.e. vegas and casino arizona (the 2nd biggest room in the country after commerce). What does everybody else think about that?
