I play a lot of 100-200. I wouldn't have played the hand to begin with. On that flop, you're getting too good of odds to just lay it down to 1 bet. I'd call, and see what happens after you. If it comes back with a single raise, call again. If it's a double raise or more, drop it.

who is the better player? fischman/mizrachi

I've played Grinder a lot in cash NLHE, so I gotta go with Fishman. Ha. -
This poll is bit flawed. The two Phil's arguement was over who was more famous worldwide, but this poll only serves to show that Phil Helmuth is more famous among other poker players. Worldwide though, it's a no brainer - Gordon is by far more famous.Just google "Phil Helmuth" and then google "Phil Gordon". It's not even close, and I only googled the sites written in english. But Helmuth is definitely more famous among other serious poker players.

wsop player of the year award scoring
Juice It Up replied to Juice It Up's topic in General Poker Forum
Hmm.. I guess nobody knows this? -
Here's one suggestion I've sent to a number of poker rooms, and have yet seen implemented anywhere:Big bet protection: User sets an amount, and anytime he bets over that amount, he's prompted if he's sure he wants to make the bet. This is for us players who play up to 8 tables at once, often with the tables overlapping, and occasionally find ourselves accidentally clicking the "raise allin" button because a window popped up at an inopportune time.

wsop player of the year award scoring
Juice It Up replied to Juice It Up's topic in General Poker Forum
Thanks for the reply. I can find standings, but I can't find anywhere that actually states how many points are awarded for each place for each event. (ie. how many points you get for scoring 3rd in the 3000 nl hold'em event). -
Does anyone know where I can find out how many points you get for placement in each event for the wsop player of the year award? I did google searches and checked the wsop site, as well as others that I thought might have the info, but didn't have any luck finding it. I thought since DN won it last year, someone on here might know how it's scored. And also, will they be having the player of the year award again this year? Thanks,Kris
