  1. Don't mind at all. I'm a designer, so I spend my days writing quests and storyline. Not a bad gig, really. It's funny: seems the poker pros play video games to take their minds off the stress of poker. I play poker to take my mind off the stress of video games. Funny world.
  2. I never get tired of hearing that. :)Hopefully, you'll like Oblivion even more.
  3. GameSpot lists the release as Q3 2005. They're not always accurate, though.I'm thinking PSP for me. Portable internet HE? Sounds good!
  4. Thanks for the response. I know you're a gamer, so if either you or Erick would like to come check out our game (Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion) while you're there, shoot me a PM, and we'll get you on the invite list. I look forward to checking out Stacked!
  5. It's certainly a game I'd like to check out, but neither the developer (Myelin) nor the publisher (5000 ft.) are listed as showing anything on the official E3 site. So, what's up? No presence at the show? Seems odd for a game that will be released soon. I figure to be working most of the time, but it sure would be nice to check it out when I get a chance to walk the floor.
  6. My advice would be to hire an accountant. If you've built up a sizeable bankroll, the $200 (or so) it would cost to have an accountant do your taxes is a minimal investment. He'll know exactly what needs to be reported, and he'll also know of ways to save you money in other places in order to offset the tax hit.I know that since I've used one, it's saved me a lot of money every year. Plus, I sleep better at night knowing that my taxes were done correctly and legally. It's gotten rare now that I hear the black helicopters hovering over my house at night.
  7. the L must be silentClearly, he means El Humberto Brenes.
  8. Seems to me that it's a bit silly to be saying that either limit or NL is the way to go. Certainly, there's money to be made playing either, assuming you're an above average player (and judging by the average level of competition that seems to be online). For me at least, I've made money more consistently playing limit online. I've found that my NL play depends a lot more on being able to read my opponents, and I've had more success at that in live games. That said, it's certainly fun to play some NL online, though the bigger stack swings do make it a bit more daunting. So...how about pot limi
  9. I just registered, and I realized that a post titled "Real Tards" had to be where I posted first. It somehow seemed appropriate. :-)
