    A Confession

If by "hoot", you mean a sardonic, slightly holier-than-thou, likes cats more than people, jewish man-boy veterinarian's assistant, then no.... I suppose I'm not nearly as fun as all that. No offense to you Rose, but after the day I've had, I've really lost the energy and motivation to care about pursuing this. I do wish you well with any medical problems that you may be having, and I mean that sincerely.

    A Confession

Just so that we are clear, and that there is no misunderstanding......If you read what I wrote, I wasn't questioning the "electrolyte imbalances and all of your surgeries" - specifically the gastric bypass surgery. In fact, it was the opposite. What I was saying was, that the level of detail surrounding the bypass surgery was too "real" to have been faked by VB. My entire post was questioning the authenticity of VB's claim that he was "Rose". I did say that some details about the cancer/surgery didn't ring right. I will PM you later this evening about that, as I have to leave soon to go

I did see your pic, and it is completely fantastic. It was totally worthy of quoting, and I was remiss not to quote it. I'll give Zimmerlin a close second. But in the presence of Clay, all others truly and honestly pale in comparison.

......and in the end, what they thought was a cleverly executed level, turned out to be nothing more than a grade school caliber prank.*yawn* However, this......this made it all worthwhile. Clay always wins the internets. And he always will.

Hmmmm I don't think I buy this.VB, you're not answering some of the glaring questions that are arising.Who did Rivergirl call that was registered at the hotel? Why don't you answer this one?Who was Chrozzo talking to? Are you saying your wife talked and CRIED multiple times, with another poster, who does in fact have a real life serious illness? If so, you and your wife are sickos. The Chrozzo friendship only works, if Chrozzo was in fact, in on this. What about the suicidal PM's? You really did that?? And why haven't you addressed that after it's been brought up several times. The cance
  6. Ummmmm how long ago was it that you saw this show? A few years right?Maybe I need to re-think this notion of taking my kid.
  7. There is a live chat function in Farm Town too.....you can hang out and chat on your farm with your buddies lol. Stan and Norm and I often have fun little farm times.
  8. Ohh man, I'm tellin' you.....you gotta hook up with Farm Town too.......it's quite a bit cooler. You'll REALLY get addicted, if you like FarmVille.
  9. Well, I'm not good at this sort of thing......explaining artistic merits of one thing or another. But I think the sound, the lyrics, the emotion, the depth.......everything about it, was in a league of it's own.
  10. I would argue that yes, it was really that good. In my humble opinion.
  11. If Elton John is pop (and I suppose he is), then to me, he'd be at the top of the heap of what one would consider "good" (artistically, creatively, whatever) pop music.
  12. Yes, same tour I believe.Well, here's whats kinda funny. All 3 of us are really into MM. Like, it's become like a family thing, family time.......the 3 of us rockin out to Marilyn Manson. But, like, I mean.......Marilyn Manson?? Family time?? LOL. We're a funny family. So, Katie is going with her friends.....but Kristen is coming with me. Yes, I am taking my 14 yr old to MM.......which may or may not speak to my quality as a mother. lol. Here's the thing.....Kristen has about the best head on her shoulders of any 14 yr old girl you will ever meet. She takes his whole shock/shlock/
  13. My answer to your question is: yes pop music can be good. Yes, a pop hit can still be good. However, I am not a music snob at all......I like what I like, regardless of whether it's popular or not. My soul is a rocker, but there's lots of pop songs I like. Lots! Heck I even like some Britney Spears songs. But, I mean.....it's all personal taste. Speaking of what one may consider good, and another not agree...............I'm going to see Marilyn Manson in about 3 weeks.........and am sooooo excited for it. I LOVE MM, but many would think I'm nuts.aaaaand congrats to Voldy.......wow, n
  14. Well, yes, yes that must be why.
  15. Holy crap, I feel like sticking a fork in my eye after reading all that. Here's my take on it:Firstly, I was probably listening to Def Leppard, in earnest, long before they crossed over into "pop" territory or had big radio hits. They started out as a straight up rock band, in the early 80's......and as previously mentioned, the High and Dry album was great. I also probably think it was great, because as with most music, one's love of it often comes from what kind of emotional response, and memories it provokes. When High and Dry was new, and I was listening to it......I was also in my heyday

    Dear Nikki

I can't imagine one, cuz it hurts like a motherfucker. The possible reasons:1) She likes to be hurt like a motherfucker. The end.
  17. Dear SAM,I do understand what you mean about their later "popish" type hits like Pour Some Sugar on Me. The High and Dry album, for me, is by far the best....the only one that really has stood the test of time for me (i.e. I will still listen to it now, and like it). That album was before they really "made it big". If you're not familiar with that album, you should check it out. Your old rocker type friend,Bunny
  18. Although Squeaky wasn't implicated in the La Bianca/Tate murders, if you look at her history since the time of those murders (she was thought to have "taken over the family" after Manson's imprisonment; attempts to assassinate a president, seems to have been involved in some other murders - the Willets, but released for lack of evidence, had a prison escape, attacked a fellow imate with a hammer, remained a Manson follower for years, after most of the others had shunned him)......her behavior and mindset seem to be quite different, than the Leslie Van Houten described by John Waters. I guess
  19. Squeaky Fromme releasedSo much for none of them getting out of prison.p.s. I read the Waters article last weekend when Keith posted them, and found it excellent. How weird, to now read this news today.
  20. LOL I'm gone. Off to work. Have a nice day peoples.
  21. That is 100% exactly right. Be sure to tell Denny that when she hits 40.
  22. Bahahhahaha, good times on the farm Normie! Seriously, it's a sickness. (see you there soon! hehe)
  23. Hahaha, that's very cool! Wear it often. And seriously, you don't need to be stressin' about getting old. Heck, I've got at least 10 years on you! I mean, to hear you girls tell it, I've got one foot in the grave already. Wait......maybe I do! doh Some days I feel like it. But really, in a lot of ways, I've felt better in my 40's than in my 30's. Isn't 40's the new 20's? Or sum shit like that.
  24. 7 hours laterP.S. I'm the only chick in here who's old enough to qualify as a cougar. Plus, my understanding of the definition, when it was first coined, was a divorced woman in her 40's. Quite frankly, I'm ok with it.
