  1. I wouldn't worry about a capped bet heads up in this spot but two raises by two different players back to me would make me doubt the quality of my hand. Obviously at least one of them has or can beat the trip aces. Now if they just have it you're golden because they can't out kick you. I'd be very worred about AQ here. AJ is a possibility as is AT but I would expect more strength to be shown on the flop, trying to gauge the quality of their kicker, rather than on the turn when the Q hit. I find it pretty easy to put one of them on AQ as I, personally, might be wary of three betting out of po
  2. Well, duh. Of course the only people who wouldn't say PT is better don't use PT. That's WHY they don't use PT. :-P
  3. Hey, I've had bad beats playing at the end of a tournament with AA. Last time it happened to me was just a $100+$9 SNG on PP. We got to heads up with me having rougly a 1.75:1 chip lead. I get AA on the SB and having a good read on my man double the BB. Sure enough he reraises all in. I call and he flips over T8o. At this point I'm starting to count my winnings when I notice the flop come T8x. Neither the turn nor river hold an A (or any other outs) and I'm playing from a big disadvantage. Finally I get desperate enough (with about 20% of the chips in play and the next hand putting me 50% in
  4. From the way he asked the question I'm assuming that he decided to fold knowing that whoever lost the hand was virtually (if not literally) out of the tournament and he'd be playnig heads up with a 2:1 chip lead. Now this does seem like a great play with any lesser hand (possibly even AK or KK) but against 2 players you can expect your aces to hold up about 75% of them time regardless of what two cards they are each holding and you know that you cannot be in a position where you are not a big favorite to win the hand (with AK or KK you *could* be and quite possibly are dominated).I'd be all in
  5. I make him sweat it out and then throw my cards into the muck.If he has 2 pair I've got quite few outs to work with. With my overpair I just need the board to pair (without filling his boat), another Q to hit, or a T or to hit. So I've got 6 outs (3 to each of the two community cards he isn't holding) plus 2 to a Q, plus 4 to a T and 6 hearts (that aren't a K or T). 18/46 to draw here...not being laid good enough odds to draw. Especially not when I'm effectively gambling my tournament life here. If he's made trips I'm in a world of hurt and if I made that read I fold without even thinking.
