It depends on how many people are in the pot. If you play better than the rest of the table, I think you could probably make a very marginal profit calling with any two if there are 3 or 4 limpers in front of you. I would love to know what Dwan would have done if Eastgate had called the 100k on the turn. The fact that Eastgate has 500k behind is the reason he folded but if he just calls on the turn its going to take a lot of balls for dwan to bluff shove 300k+ on the river. This might sound bad but Eastgate calling on the turn and folding to a river bet might be best because his hand would look so rediculously strong after calling on the turn. Yeah i made a flush on the end. The way i played the hand i can easily have a boat on the river. If he called on the turn with Ax of clubs i think a check on a paired river is reasonable. I was thinking of just throwing out something small like 100 but if i get checkraised i hate my life and if i shove its going to be very hard for him to call with anything. I think it comes down to whether or not i think he'll checkraise to a bet of 100 and thats going to have to be a pretty small percentage to make the bet worth while.

The reason i raised 100 more instead of 200 more is because i thought his range included a lot of 2 pairs and flush draws which i didn't want him to get rid of. I was hoping he'd call and try to draw to a boat or a flush. I think betting 200 makes him fold everything except for 33.

This is what i'm thinking too. The thing is i notice in these spots that a lot of players get the feeling that they are getting bullied and almost never fold to the last bet after being raised twice. I actually think that there might be a lot of value in just shoving here representing a bluff because so often people are going to either put me on something like a set or nothing and call. If you are talking about an online tournament where the blinds go up every 5 or 10 minutes than i really don't think you can play the hand this slow. Small ball is going to work in deepstack tournaments where you have the luxery of waiting and the ability to see a lot of hands cheap. The small ball approach sacrifices value in exchange for a lower variance game where you can outplay your opponents but in a fast online structure you have to gamble a lot more and make sure to get as much as you can off of your monsters. I don't think this is an option because with almost $700 in the pot (800 if i call) i won't be able to learn enough to justify folding after committing that extra $100 on the flop. Along with that at least 1 of them has to be on a draw here and i think i need to make them commit. If they're not on a draw i don't want to give them fold equity if a scare card comes.
