I would consider myself ignorant when it comes to the campaign platform of both primary candidates. However, ignorance is a tool that Obama is using to spark excitement in the masses of americans who choose not to make truly educated votes. I was having a discussion with a friend today, and he put it pretty well. He's either going to be the next jimmy carter or the best thing since sliced bread. I do believe that Obama's trip to Germany today, while a bit arrogant, is definitely an indication that he might work hard towards re-establishing our credibility in the global spectrum.
