I agree with most of your post. I'm a Christian. Now, it may be because I consider myself to be a very liberal type of Christian(I'm as turned off by fundamental christians as most atheists are), but I don't see why science and religion can't coexist. I believe in God(in whatever shape or form that He exists), and I also believe in evolution, the big bang, all those science-y theories about the beginnings of the universe, because they're true.
