  1. dude, definite foldyou're 2nd place w/14000 and you're willing to risk 3500 w/AQO?!?!??!?!If SB didn't make the re-raise to 3500, calling the 500 wouldn't be so bad - except that mp1 is acting behind you, so still fold it. You got bad position with 2 others (if mp1 calls instead of raising all in) to act behind you if you see the flop. Now if your AQ is suited and you're pretty sure SB would make this move w/low pocketpair, and you're willing to gamble, and and and and and...:Dit wouldn't be that bad of a move. Why? You can risk the chips because you have more than enough for the 75/150 blin
  2. For pushes, we have to know reads thoughYes, it's true that if you play your chipstack and put others all-in, for the most part they will not call unless they have a bigger hand. That saidYour Image is very important - are you wild? You'll get called by someone w/k9, i bet you!Are they wild? They'll call you with k-9!Find the weakies and push em over to your hearts content - granted that there's a decent amt in the pot That and so you get blinds folded to you without much contention.I like the QJclub push now because of your very tight image. The k7 suited hand, honestly, I would've told the
  3. is he aggressive or passive?Aggressive - i check and hope he doesn't bet too much on river - don't want to get all-in'd for the re-raisepassive - I definitely bet that turn. If he re-raises, I let it goI'm afraid of AX suitedvery common play in sngs
  4. i don't wanna log 10-15k hands of 50 NL D: that takes sooooooooo long. I know my limit game is pretty solid, I started at .50/1 and now have the broll to play 3/6. Ive been playing some .50/1NL at fulltiltpoker to clear their redeposit bonus and I know my NL game is pretty solid, at least in the tourney/sit n go area I've made consistent bank. I'm trying to figure out which way would be faster to make 1k so I can play 1/2NL or 5/10LHE: .50/1 NL or 3/6 LHEI did notice one guy that I have 1000hands of info on who made 800 bucks within that 1000...but I dunno if he's on a big upstreak or some
  5. you don't need an account to view postsonly need one to postand lordofelt:let's just assume we're equally good at limit and no limit. Who can make more? I saw a post by some guy in the neverwinpoker forums claiming he made 55k that month playing NL and 255k in the past few months (not neverwin or micon)
  6. better exampleI have 2kam I better off playing 3/6 limit or 1/2 NL assuming I'm a winning player at both types?
  7. so even though you can win a lot and lose a lot in a short amount of time, you can still make more playing NL than limit?
  8. hey all, I've been a lurker here for awhile and now I've decided to post!for limit you need 300 bigbets and NL approximately 25 buy ins right? For those of you who play no limit, how big are the swings? I'm a winning player at 1/2 and 2/4 limit and I also tried some NL awhile ago and at first was down $300 but within just a few hours easily made that back...My question is, is it easier to rake in more $$$ through NL or will it take just as long as playing limit because of the swings?
