  1. What about playing a different game to switch things up? What I find helpful when No Limit gets stale is buying in short to PLO and just donk around a bit. Also I think playing 4-6 tables of PLO, really can help with multi tabling No Limit when you decide to go back.
  2. Sick.I'd be happy if I could get 5000 on a regular basis in a month. How many tables do you normally play?
  3. (sorry you reminded me of something I scribbled down a while back)Firing Three Large BarrelsSometimes you find yourself in the precarious situation that is a 3 barrel bluff. You were the preflop aggressor, and having missed the flop, turn, and river, you bet every street in an attempt to get your opponent to fold his medium strength hand. You have bet between 2/3 - 3/4 pot the whole way, but you are still called all the way down by 88 on a T237J board.Maybe you think to yourself: This guy can look into my soul.Against the medium strength hand and against this kind of smart(?) check caller,

  7. Agreed.Very last hand of the night syndrome. I need to realize its all one session and that games will be there tomorrow.

  9. I shoved on both. And these hands happened within 5 minutes of each other at the beginning of my session. And after both hands, I immediatly thought that I played them terribly. On the first hand I 3x from UTG and get flatted by CO and Button. BB makes it 3.75. So pot is now 6.1 and I have 24.25 left. Now I start looking at it like if I raise a normal amount, its over 1/3 of my stack and actually nearly half my stack. For some reason I have always played in such a way that if you are putting in between 1/3 and 1/2 of your stack with a re-raise you might as well shove. I might have picked

  11. This kind of hand tilts the fukk out of me. Like villain believes he trapped, and played it all sneaky. Like you wouldnt be more than happy to get it in with him pre-flop and save everybodys fukking time and not making it a 4 street hand. chfriasdkfj;l
  12. Then what are we opening UTG? Top 5%? I'm asking cause I mostly just click buttons and probably open way too much UTG. It seems like this is the type of hand we'd want to randomize our play with from UTG. I would feel more comfortable facing a button flat holding this hand than either AJo or KQo.
  13. Shouldn't we have even more maneuverability if the pot is smaller post-flop, even if its 3 ways.
  14. Great point. Thats pretty bad that I overlooked that.
  15. Flat pre?The deuce in your hand is a killer. I'd much rather be 3 betting premium KKxx and all run-downs. Maybe its results-oriented thinking, but I'd hate to 3 bet fold here. At least with a run-down hand you can flat the 4 bet and 99% know he has AAxx, getting it in on tons of decent flops where you are racing or have villian crushed.

  17. F. you beat me by a minute and your reply is waaaayy better.
  18. Gross, blind v blind. I imagine you can bet here trying to rep a busted FD, so that you can get him to spazz shove bluff. In that case snap. But at the same time would villain ever consider checking two pair plus thinking you would bluff a missed draw a lot so that he could pull this CR...I think you have to make that $10 bet here on the river, but you also have to know exactly what you do against a CR shove, before making that bet.
  19. Until this year the Neg-O was the most challenging $10 poker tourney in existense, played every Wednesday Night at 9:00 EST. In 2011, the game is not always $10, sometimes its $5, but still the case remains the same.kobe2odom8 is a Triple Draw and Stud specialist.rrumsey is a superfluous poster.
  20. Nice. While playing in the Neg-O last night, I discovered that 2-7 triple draw is an awesome game.I also found out that your hand does not have to be exactly 75432 to qualify. I think I folded a nine low last night after the final draw getting like 20-1. fkal;sdfasdf. And that was during the second round of that game. During the first round my brain was not thinking like that... ISA8G.
  21. I don't think we are losing that much by just folding from UTG with QJo, especially considering that KOBE is going to be putting you to the test by 3 betting from the button a lot. Once you do get 3b, like TA13 said, it's not fun to play this hand oop against him.
