Ok, Smash. Why do you think you are better then anyone on this forum. I was seriously considering just not posting since some like you ALWAYS has to put a negative spin on a good thread. I used to respect you as you do help a lot of people on this forum, but over the last couple of weeks I've noticed that you almost always have something negative to say. Hey Guys, Lately I've realized that if i want to start making more money playing cards I'm going to need to learn to play other games. When I started playing cards, it was me and a bunch of friends saying "Hey lets all get together and play some No-Limit Texas Hold-Em" so we were all relatively new to poker. All of us built and improved our game together and basically rotaded our money around between us. A group of four or five of us took the game more seriously then the rest of the players, and this group of us now do very well in all the local home games in our area. Now im wondering

First of all i should say that I would lay down the aces. Sencondly, I've been thinking about this: If there are eight, possibly 9 other players all in you have to put them on big hands. If you are holding AA you pair is probably not going to hold up in this situation, so you need to improve your hand, meaning you need to catch a 3rd A, or get luckey and hit a flush or straight (very unlikely). So wouldn't your chances possibly be better with a low drawing hand, like low suited connectors. I would think that less of your outs are held by other players and you are more likely to hit the

The ONLY reason I dont believe this guy is: If I were making $6000 a month in poker, and making good grades, being a responsible person, etc... I seriously doubt that my parents would be giving me crap about it. If they did, I would easily be able to support myself off of my poker winnings and I would probably leave home. Very good Posts, I'm glad to see that so many people care about this community. As one of the younger players on the forums I ussually try to keep me posts short and to the point, but i hope that I add a little bit of humor and intellegence to the threads I post on. And even though i am young I hope that I've helped a couple people with their game, because I know that you all have helped me. Ok, well that's enough for me. I hope to see the forum to continue to function and grow, and thanks again to all of those who have helped me with my game and kept my days from growing too boring.

I think your on to something here, i think it would be very interesting to watch. I dont think that there should be to much footage away from the table, but it would be kind of cool to see how these guys live and see how much money they really have to spend :wink:

I feel you man, i had a really bad weekend, i got outdrawn like 8 times to lose touneys.As long as its not huge leaks in your game, just remember if you play well you will be payed off in the long run
