Contrary to rumors, the Mohegan Sun Poker Room was not closed because of corruption. Like all decisions in big business, the room was closed because of financial considerations, a.k.a. the bottom line. I was there when it all went down. They thought they could make more money with slots and they felt poker was laggging behind. The decision was 100 % financial.Peace

So, here we are with 64 players left and the top 60 are getting paid. I sit in the box and there is Daniel in the 2 seat checking hockey scores on his ESPN phone. I don't post much, but I am a charter FCPer, so this is big stuff for me. The second hand I deal, I expose a Jack of Clubs to the 9 seat who is the BB. Daniel says he hates playing when there is an exposed card because what was supposed to happen has been changed, but that he doesn't blame me. I'm a poker dealer at Foxwoods and that is a terrible move by the dealer. To not call the floor and then to 'shuffle' the burn cards is ridiculous. The floor agreeing with him doesn't surprise me. Many of the floors in the main room are from table games and only floor during the tournaments. If the remaining deck and the muck can't be separated, then the whole thing has to be re-shuffled. The only cards not to be included would be the burns.
