  1. These challenges always seem to just fade out. Any updates?
  2. I like you stew, but that is nowhere near the highest levels online.Yeah, I didn't mean to say that those are the highest possible. But I've been playing mostly on Bodog where 50 is the highest, and it's harder to find a consistent game bigger than 100 on FCP/Pokerroom. Which leads to my question...as far as SNG's go, where are the highest for heads up? I know FCP has the 500 ones as their highest...is that the biggest it goes? Full Tilt also has 500, with a lower fee as well. I'll be sticking to 50/100 for now but when my BR gets big enough to where I don't mind taking a few shots at the

  5. Hey No_Neck,This stat was just for $10,000 buy-in events, I believe. But I agree, this does not mean that there are any where near only 63 people who played these events who came out positive.
  6. From Cardplayer:In 2005, to play in every $10,000 buy-in WPT and WSOP Circuit event costs $355,550. Add in travel and expenses, and you’re looking at around $500,000. In 2005, only 63 players earned $500,000 or more on tour, so where does that leave the rest?
  7. Hey Patrick,If you are at a 68% win rate on 700 $10 SnGs, it would be much easier to make the 1500 playing at the $20 level. You could also do this for the second half to get a good comparison.
  8. So I'm taking my first shot at limit hold em and struggling with certain hands. One of my questions is for $1/$2 limit hold em:with AK in the big blind, and 4-6 limpers. Do you always raise? With no info on the other players. I feel you will get zero foldsAnd next question, if you hit your ace or king, bet out each street, and get raised on the flop, turn, or river, do you call it down to the river. Again, this is with no info on the other players. I feel that with such loose play preflop at these tables, top pair top kicker is rarely profitable for me when I am raised. Thanks all.
  9. "You will also receive access toPoker Bot Software thatwill play your games for you,day and night, playing withthe acuraccy that even the topnames in poker can't match!"Haha, now that's acurattte!
  10. Good answer Huge Pair. Exactly what I was thinkin.
  11. So I was trying to think of what could the worst bad beat be, which got me thinking to the following question:If you were to combine the percentage chance of winning on preflop, the flop, and on the turn, and get to the lowest combined percentage, with the worst hand still winning. What would the hole cards be, the flop, the turn, and the river.I have my guess, lets see what you all think.(And I realize this is only one way to think of a bad beat, just thought it requires some good 'ol poker thinkin)
  12. With heads up, the small blind is on the button and acts first preflop, but then acts second all other rounds. Just watch one on one tournies or cash games at any poker site to prove this to your friend
  13. I think the reraise is absolutely necesary, as long as you don't think he will fold. If anything re-rasie a little more. At that point, he will feel committed to the pot, as half his chips will be in, and you can then proceed to get all of your chips in on the flop and/or turn. You should realize that after the preflop bet, you will not be folding this hand no matter what, so make it worth the risk of him getting lucky by building the pot preflop.
  14. Nope, not me. I agree, played horribly, my only guess is that he had a read on this guy that overbetting would look like a bluff and would be the only way to get paid. And checking aces preflop? Oops...
