Hero is dealt A :D A :D in the CO (60$ stack) at an NL 100 table. Preflop: All fold to MP2 who limps. Hero raises 5xBB to 5$, MP2 callsFlop 5 :club: 5 :) 3 :) -- MP2 checks, Hero bets 5$ (1/2 pot for value-- praying that I can convince him I have aK), MP2 callsTurn 10 :D -- MP2 checks, hero bets 10$ (1/2 pot again for value-- further praying that I can convince him I have AK). MP2 check raises to 30$. -- No read on the guy, just got to the table. How do you proceed from here?-- Other than 33 and TT, I can't think of another hand this guy could have that has me beat. Any 5 is probably out of the question given the 5xBB raise preflop. I'm thinking JJ or 99 at this point. If he did indeed 2 out me, I'm prepared to pay him off. ATs is also very possible at this point. Results to follow.

It's very, very hard to make an educated decision... however.. you're calling 20 into a 41.5 dollar pot... however, if you call here, you should pretty much go all in, IMO, because the times you are beat, you will have to go all in on the river anyway, and the times you aren't beat, it could just be checked down... so I'd push all in, proably... i just think there's too much money in the pot, and too much of a chance the person could be pushing you around... it the person puts you on high cards, they could be trying to push you off the hand with something very weak. But without a read, and without an idea of what your oponient think's of you, it could be very hard. A certain kind of opponent could only be trapping here. And I think that saying that there's no chance your opponent couldn't have a five is wrong. Certain kinds of opponents will call raises with all kinds of hands, when they know their call will close out the action, and they think they are against a big hand they can trap. In short, with out having a read, I'd proably go all in. But if I thought at all this person was a trappper, and not a bluffer, then I would fold..
