DanielNegreanu 141 Posted March 10, 2015 Author Share Posted March 10, 2015 Alexander Semin's place in the lineup could be in jeopardy tomorrow, for good reason, as star Cheap Thieves winger Kyle Okposo has been cleared to play! It's likely we will play the wait and see approach in his first game back, but this bodes well for a now healthy Thieves squad. Rumor has it that defenseman Kevin Connauton is also possible for tomorrow night's game, leaving only Johan Franzen, Jack Skille, and young d-man Yannick Weber who's injury doesn't appear serious at all. With Okposo and Connauton available for the stretch, this team is officially a contender for their 4th AHL Championship. Goalie Henrik Lundqvist appears to still be out, but in his stead, Cam Talbot has been fantastic. Link to post Share on other sites

(@ CLB) Kyle Okposo, NYI. (vs MIN) T. J. Oshie, STL. (@ PIT) Derek Stepan, NYR. (vs LA) Anze Kopitar, LA. (@NYR) Erik Cole, DET. (vs ARI) Jason Pominville, MIN. (@ NYI) As of right now the only case I can make that makes sense is sitting Pominville, back to back nights and playing on the road. Kopitar playing against my goalies, but can't sit him after a goal and two assists tonight. Erik Cole has a great matchup home to Arizona... Link to post Share on other sites
