Calling down with the best hand and winning the pot is a bad play these days?

See I really dont think that it is fair to call me a donk because i played one hand questionably. It is not the worst play in the history of poker to call a raise with a small pocket pair early on in a limit tourney and try tp hit a set with the limits being pretty small still. If you could provide me with some other hands that I played poorly and explain to me why I could understand. I would actually be interested to know what else you think I did wrong so that maybe i could correct it in the future. Isnt that what a forum like this is all about anyway making us all better players. I don

No I dont think that you should gamble in this spot yes you may have the best hand but I feel like you do that with the other two so shortstacked that you can fold and wait for a better spot. You made it 9,000 to go so that would leave you with 23,00 in chips which is not healthy by any means but with two opponents who are pot commited and you haviing around 15BB left I think this is definitely the right fold to wait for a better spot and try and move up in the money.

I think the general consensus is that if you are telling the truth it is not allowed and if you are lying then it is perfectly legal sorta wierd but i think that is how it is handled.

Why do you question your river bet? If you were confident enough that your hand was best on the turn and you three bet there how does that river really change anything? The only thing that could have gotten there is pocket tens. I think as far as other streets go though I agree with everything you had done. But like I said i dont think you can three bet the turn and then not bet a fairly harmless card on the river. If it had been the ten of clubs then I could see checking and calling.

Although KQ is just as likely I just for some reason think 88.

I agree there is a pretty large range of hands you could have here but I am going to go with pocket 8s.
