Maybe it's not a W2, but the form that they send you in the begining of the year for the previous year's winnings.

Yup. I am looking for it but can't find it. I don't think that they even sent me a W2 as I keep them in a folder and that one obviously was not included.

Turns out that a local casino reported my measly $860.45 win in a tournament to the IRS as $86045.00. The short story is that I have a IRS bill for $22,800 when all the fees are addd in. Not to mention probably being red flagged in the future. I am sure that it will get sorted out by my cpa and the casino, but definately not fun. Anyone think I have recourse against the casino?
