Im just wondering if this is considered angling.Tonight, (Seemingly) drunken sloppy guy is playing on about 450$ at 1/2 NL. I have about 320$.Hes in BB I'm on Button with A 8 several limpers, i limp on button, and we see a flop maybe 6-7 handed. 8 3 6 it gets checked to me, and i bet 15. BB raises me to 30. Folded back to me I make it 100 straight, he calls. Turn is 7 and he checks and i push for 220ish. Now, he starts telling me to look at him, which i guess is fine but then he says I think you have a set of sixes, do you? And then says i have 2 pair, how can I lay down 2 pair?? He keeps saying he has 2 pair and looking at me for a reaction, then says you got those sixes? Now I'm not sure what I did, he must have picked up some tell on me, and all of a sudden yells I call! I call! I was like wtF??? Did i do something? or give something off? I guess i must have he had 8c3c and river is brick so i get stacked. Is saying what you have in your hand allowed? Are there different rules at different casino's?Also, i dont want any advice on how I've played the hand, i thought about it already some, and talked to a few people who's advice i can actually put a value on. No offense to anyone but I like to get strategy advice from players who i know are good players, not faceless internet identities.

NO i agree, totally terrible line of play. I already know that. I just didnt want a bunch of replies about how i played the hand, i wanted to know whether or not this is considered angling, talking about your hand like that.

There wasn't anymore action involved after his decision, so he probably would be let off the hook if it came down to a decision from the floor man. Another thing he could have done is turn over his hand before he acted to get a reaction and he would have been in the clear. However, its a different situation with 3+ people in a pot and more action to be had

There's nothing wrong with talking a little bit to try to get some information from your opponent. If you give off tells easily, that's your problem.
