Hey guys,I know im not exactly a heavy hitter here at FCP, i mean i post quite a bit in threads but usually for comic relief.. ive posted once in strategy, and have the honest intentions of doing much more when i finish school in amonth and can concentrate on becoming a better poker player.I was looking through my results for the year, and I just realized I'm very close to hitting my 2006 goal of making $10,000 at poker. I started in late 2004 and just wanted to break even by the end of the year, and did it. In 2005, I wanted to make $1,000 (i only played for 4 or 5 months) and managed to do it by grinding out 50$ NL for maybe an hour a day. But this year, I knew i was getting better and wanted to see how well i could do. So without further ado, heres my results for the year:PokerstarsTournaments: $2,533 in cashes with 4 final tablesCash Games: Approximately +$425. I dont play them much there, and I've had very mixed results at various levels.Cashouts - Deposits = $2,104Full TiltTournaments: $4,740 in cashes with 1 final tableCash Games: Approximately +$750. I've been running over 100$ NL lately, and I just started playing at fulltilt this monthCashouts - Deposits = $4,351UltimatebetTournaments: $19 in cashes with 0 final tablesCash Games: -$50Cashouts - Deposits = -$50PartypokerTournaments: $105 in cashes with 0 final tablesCash Games: Approximately +$900 across 3 accountsCashouts - Deposits = $750Ongame Skins (Hollywood, FCP, Pokerroom)Tournaments: $0 (I hate ongame tourneys and refuse to play them)Cash Games: Approximately +$1,100Cashouts - Deposits = $1,047Other Sites (Interpoker, Ladbrokes, and a few others)Tournaments: $0 (same reasons as ongame)Cash Games: Approximately +$250Cashouts - Deposits = $217Shipped to friends and paid in cash on Stars/Tilt: $440Totaled Up: Cashouts - Deposits = $8,109I also have $497 on Full Tilt. So at this point, my total profits for the year are $8,603.That means with 6 weeks to go in 2006, I need to make $1,397. In all honesty, I played brutally terrible in June, July, August and September which resulted in around $900 in losses. I've been making around $50 a day at cash games on Full Tilt, but losing about 25$ through satelliting into $24+2's on FTP through $6.60 sngs. I included SNG profits in cash games to make things easier, since im only up about $500 at them. I dont know why sharkscope resets itself, but w/e. Putting out how I've done has been a good way for me to see my overall results, and give me the confidence boost to hit my goal. Here's to me getting there, and thanking the FCP community for rail support and generally letting me tap their brains with hand histories/etc over AIM and such. I think I'd be about $7000 less than that if it wasnt for their help.I also thought id post this to let the average player know that with a lot of patience and the willingness to learn, you can make some extra money playing low limit holdem like i do.Patrick

I spent about $2k trying to figure out how to beat online poker, couldn't, and then decided to beat live poker.Since July of '06 @ the Motor City Casino and the MGM, and vegas, I'm at +$824 which includes my online losses of $2150. I have been playing mainly 5/10 LHE and 1/2 NL.

/pukei guess i'll have to stop blowing my roll on MTTs (2 months w/o a cash) so i can play 10/20 round by round at greektown when i turn 21
