Legally a verbal contract is every bit as enforceable as a written contract, there's just the little issue of convincing the judge that the contract actually exists, ie. you had a conversation that led to clearly agreed upon terms. Pretty easy when the conversation is tape recorded.Just to clear up this common error, a written contract is a verbal contract. The correct term for a non-written contract is oral contract.
