OK, this message contains a spoiler, so don't read on if you don't care about Poker Superstars results.Poker Superstars III was shot last year. The players are not allowed to disclose who won the tourney. However, the players who make the final 8 also play in a 500K freeroll that is shown on network TV on the day of the the Super Bowl. This freeroll is NOT the same as Poker Superstars III, it just takes the final 8 of that tourney and gives them a shot at 500K. As you recall, last year Poker Superstars II was won by Johnny Chan while the pre Superbowl 500K was won by Todd Brunson. Apparently, Mike Matusow won the 500K freeroll, but not Poker Superstars III. Howard Lederer alluded to Matusow's 500K win during the live broadcast of the Monaco Full Tilt Invitational last year. Matusow also has written, while chatting at Full Tilt tables, that he was knocked out of Poker Superstars by Gus Hansen.
