Multitabling And Ev

i was wondering everyone's take on multitabling. do you feel that playing more than one table affects you positively or negatively?if you like to multitable, how many tables until you feel that you are being stretched and are actually losing EV. any other thoughts on this subject are appreciated...i would just like to hear some opinions...cheers.

it basically boils down to you personally. I feel I'm not great at multi tabling, it depends how alert i am, but usually 2 cash tables and a tournament table is more than enough for me, anymore i definately think i lose EV. sometimes playing one is bad, esp 10 handed, coz i get bored. but it depends on the game, and how many players

Yeah.. definitely depends on everyone personally..I feel like I play my best game with at least a few tables or otherwise I get bored. Currently I'm playing 6 5-max tables and can still check the boards and read articles and everything. It's just how accustomed you are to the gameplay I guess.. Probably only youngsters like myself that are pretty acquainted with math and computers..On 10-max tables I 8-table, but only cuz I only have 2 19" lcd's.. I think if i got a 3rd i could play 12 fairly easy.A lot of factors are going to bring down EV, but the +EV of playing several tables makes it +EV overall..
