avsfan 0
Philosphical satanism consist of nine statements by Anton LaVey. I was curious what ppl think aboutt this one?Satan represents man as just another animal, sometimes better, more often worse than those that walk on all-fours, who, because of his “divine spiritual and intellectual development,” has become the most vicious animal of all.Now I am no Philosophical Satanist but some thing about this statement describes the way I feel about the world. Thoughts?

Thoughts? If you feel that human existence, on the whole, has done harm to the world and history, then you agree with the statement.Problem is that it is completely contradictory to the teachings of the Bible and therefore it's hard to believe it's not just propaganda. avsfan 0
If you feel that human existence, on the whole, has done harm to the world and history, then you agree with the statement.I t appears like human history is full of mans inhumanity to man. It also appears to me like we have very little respect for the other. The other person, the other race, the other relgion, the other beleif the other animals..etc. We humans have gotten so proficent at destruction that we can even blow the world up many times over. That to me is a pretty vicious achievement.yeah, the thing that strikes me about the statement is we are not very cool with stuff in the world as it is. I also really like animals and not very many ppl view animals as equals. I wonder if any animals went extinct today due to human exapnsion into their territory?I am not answering your question though. Do I feel human existance on the whole has done harm to the world and history? I don't know I am a human and I feel that question is beyond me in some ways. All I can do is see how we affect each other and I fell like we all are still learning how to relate to one another.as far as the propaganda statement. All I can say is I No satanist and I am not really concerned with the satanist aspect of it. The "man as just another animal, sometimes better, more often worse than those that walk on all-fours, who, because of his “divine spiritual and intellectual development,” has become the most vicious animal of all." part gets wondering? Loismustdie 0
the bible describes Satan as a serpent (or snake) in a few parts, just FYI He appeared as one to Eve. The bible describes him as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. From the movie 8mm- " You can't change the devil, the devil changes you."
Petoria 0
Elizabeth Hurley was a pretty sexy "Devil" in "Bedazzled". I mean, it's appropriate too, bc for someone with that little actual acting talent, she has done pretty well. It's almost like she has made a deal with the devil.
avsfan 0
Hmm, so this has become random stuff about Satan. Here is somethin to chew on.The Church of Satan is quallified to receive relgious tax exemption in the U.S. but they don't take it.. Why? because they feel that relgions live parasitically off society. I think that is kind of interesting not for the motive but how it looks compared to other organizations who have fought like hell to get tax exemption (think Scientology)
