borderline brownnosing there, which shouldn't be necessary since your ideas about christianity are exponentially more lucid and logical than DN's simplistic views. this is a public forum - DN specifically requested the "devotional" threads be left alone which is fair since they're not meant for the general public, but everything else is and should be fair game. these discussions are important because there is more at stake than just what individuals believe. unless the human race as a whole can mature enough to get past the social boundaries and anti-intellectualism created and fed by religious dogma the human race isn't gonna survive long term.

yeah i just feel bad for taking the bait and I figure its his site he should be able to have threads in a spot where he doesn't have the non believers cracking in every one - as long as a couple are for us too

that's what the devotional threads are for, since they're meant for believers. but any thread meant to sway anyone's belief in any way (such as the case for christ thread) should be fair game - i'm sure DN realizes and expects that.
