kid315 0
If this has been brought up befor I apologize. How do you calculate what the appropriate buy in is for a $1/2, $3/6, $5/10 NL games. is there a formula or is it just a guess. Thanks
petersun 0
Well, the standard buy in is 100xbb. So:1/2 --> 2003/6 --> 6005/10 --> 1000What do you mean by an appropriate buy in? You want to buy in for an amount that you feel comfortable playing with and making plays with. There is a strategy that some folks are trying out where they buy in for 10xbb and play only certain hands and go all in. Others suggest that you should be buying in for the max amount so when you double up you'll get maximum profit.Natually, you should buy in for as much as you're willing to lose. jayistheman 0
if you mean bankroll, 15 or 20 buyins depending on your strategy.otherwise, i go 20bb or 100bb... never in between.
Scott3705 0
I like buying in for 150. But I don't know of any online games that will let you do it. Then again online games don't play nearly as steep as live games.
