I am tring to set up well a modifed SHOE tourament the modification is to play omaha HI and last game 8/b I am pretty sure the normal format is Stud Holdem Omaha 8/b and stud 8/b. but the format I that works best to get my buddies to play is Stud Holdem Omaha and Omaha Eight/B. My question is what would you guys recommend for a blind/ante strucure for that game, don't worry about time to completion i will adjust that i just can't figure out a good stucure please help.!!

a good format should allow for lots of play. Since you are doing a tourny, this can be solved. When you do NL tournies, what is your typical structure. Also, how many chips do how have in total, how many colors do you have. This will in some ways determine what all you can do. I personally have a ton of chips that I got from fivestardeal. They aren't the heaviest, but you can get a lot of them cheap(be sure to get the solid color ones). All of this goes into what kind of structure you can make

Full Tilt HORSE tournies have a decent structure, start with 1500 , not exactly sure of the blind increments but it increases fairly slowly. Blinds go up every 10 min, you could do more.15/30 20/40...etc.You could even start with 2000 if your looking for more play.

I run a 4-handed HOSE tournament at my house every once in a while. We usually start with 10 or 12k, with limits at 100-200 for hold em/omaha, and a 25 ante, 50 bring in, 100/200 limit on stud. Every 8 hands (two rounds) we switch games, and levels go up after each game has been played. It works pretty well, and even with only 4 people, we usually play for about 5 or 6 hours. Our levels go 100/200, 200/400, 300/600, 400/800, 500/1000, 600/1200. Hope this helps.
