Bluffs2005 0 Posted November 8, 2005 Share Posted November 8, 2005 The newest craze in FCP land seems to be the movement of threadsinto where mods think they should go so many people who would benefit from reading or from someone reading and providing advice will never see them.It's your turn........Start a thread and then try and find it!!!!I agree with an earlier post in another thread where they should almost be a general section and a strategy section with another thing abut the post and what game/limit the strategy is about. This way you get the advantage of most people seeing and offering advice and the ability to only look at micro limit strategy if you want, quickly and easilyPersonally, I like seeing all the posts, and click on those I might be interested and so do most, that's why things are always posted in the general forum.*More mods = better forum* If done properly and in moderation. What makes a post General?General Poker should be about poker in general. Right? That's my oppinion. It is the General Poker forum, not the general forum. Anyting but poker should be in Off Topic. However Bluffs, you have a point. Most people read General and don't really get a chance to migrate to the other areas. What makes a post General?eh, for me, I try to only put stuff that is specific to a certain forum in there. If someone is asking about a casino, I will put it in the B&M section. If someone is asking about certain sites, I will put it in there. We really don't have as many sections as people think, its just that they really don't want to be bothered scrolling down to go to a section Link to post Share on other sites

Those that primarily or mostly look in general (as a guess 80% of total FCP Members, but maybe 40-50% of total posts) would still be able to see something they might want to read about and then possibly go right to the forum section itself to read more.This is also good that I see you guys are taking some feedback to heart and trying to make things better.
