DanielNegreanu 141
Last night was the toughest loss of the season for the Thieves. It looked like they were destined to even up their record at 6-6 when OT player Alexei Yashin scored twice and added a helper, while D man Greg de Vries had three assists. Going into the late games it was all tied up, though, because Negreanu somehow put Corey Perry in the lineup ahead of Torres, Malone, and Leclerc who all scored. Late in the Phoenix game, an assist from Paul Mara gave the Hearts the lead, but all the Thieves needed to win was to have LA allow more than one goal... didn't happen. Yet another tough loss on the young season. Now the team focuses on another home and home series with the division leading Mustangs who'll play tonight without a goalie, and only two defenseman available. The Thieves will have Brodeur in net, but are mising a d man and a forward. It will be a young group at forward with rookies Corey Perry and Jussi Jokine expected to chip in. DanielNegreanu 141
Since the Mustangs have no goalies tonight, that means I start with a 2 goal lead,up 0 to -2. I'll need a good night from NJ and Martin Brodeur. My OT player is also Mogilny so it's doubly important.
