Fischer's heart problems are common knowledge.

That's the safe bet and in my post I said as much.That said, I think he's the best goal scorer since Mario and will eventually be on a team with a "great supporting cast". He's on pace for about 60 in his rookie year with opposing defenses knowing he's the only legitimate scoring threat. That number is only going to go up when he has a playmaking center and doesn't have to do everything himself.

That was my initial reaction as well, but after thinking about it I'm not so sure. A lot depends on if the "new" NHL will last, but for the sake of argument let's say it does. He's going to surpass 50 goals in his rookie year as the only offensive threat on his team all while playing without a legitimate playmaking center. They're loaded with prospets, have a rich owner, and have ample cap space. They're going to get another high draft pick this year. In five years the team could be an offensive powerhouse. He'll never be the complete package that Gretzky was and he'll probably never reach 92

Pick him up or trade for him, he's about to go off. He's putting up a point per game so far and it's only a matter of time befire he starts to score. Once he gets his first goal, the floodgates will open. Get him while you can.
