squirrelyfox 0
Hi all,Do online poker rooms allow you to login on your friend's accounts even if you have your own at the same site? Specifically PartyPoker, Pokerstars, and UltimateBet. Thanks.
gambowler 0
don't know about stars or ub, but can tell you about party. party links any accounts that access the software from the same ip address. so if you use your friends account from your home computer, it will link your account and his together. this means you cannot play any cash tables or sngs together (to avoid collusion). even if you change ips the accounts are still connected. Like if I refer a friend, would I be allowed to play that friend's account, or would the online rooms have a problem with that since in this case I'll also directly benefit from playing hands for him (since both the referrer and the referree benefit from the refer-a-friend bonus). gambowler 0
i really don't know anything about this specific situation but i can offer my opinion.i would guess the websites would not allow this. you could try reading the terms and conditions of the refer a friend offer. i would not be surprised if they didn't give you the bonus if you played on your friend's account.after the referral bonus is issued it should not be a problem. i'm pretty sure i've played from the same ip as a friend i referred, but it was long after he signed up and got the bonus. Konidias 0
I'm pretty sure that most poker sites are against using multiple accounts. Some don't even allow you to play multiple tables on one account. When I first started playing I made another account and then found out that the program I was using didn't allow multiple accounts, so I quit using the other one. Thankfully I had only used it in the play money mode so I don't think they even bothered with it.I would definitely research it if I were you. If you can't find any solid answer, the next best thing is to e-mail them directly and ask. Better safe than sorry. Would suck to have both accounts closed off because of some rule you missed. nolvicrudie 0
I did something similar on Party about a month ago. I opened my own account then opened an account for my wife using Refer-a-Friend. Party actually froze my wife's account until we called in to verify that she did in fact have a separate account that she played on. After that, the account was unfrozen and has worked fine ever since; I received the $50 refer-a-friend on my account and we've been playing along ever since.Your friend's account has to be separately funded however. If you try to fund from the same Neteller account, you will have problems. We have separate Neteller accounts to fund the accounts separately.
