Craigslist Scammer?

That other thread reminded me there was one more bit of weirdness after all this. Two or three months after the deal, the guy calls me up again and says he needs me to fax a proof of purchase to him, with the amount of the sale and that the car was sold "as-is" to his girlfriend. I said, no, I never met your girlfriend, I'm putting your name and we can add hers if you want, but yours is first. He gave up on that and just had me fax him the stuff. So I wrote a note that said it was "sold 'as-is' with no known defects", faxed it to the number he requested. Two weeks later he said he didn't get it; I told him I faxed it the same day he requested it. He said he'd check again, and I haven't heard from him since.
