http://www.netflix.com/WiMovie/7_Plus_Seve...92?trkid=912834I guess maybe it is just a stage I am going through. I am 41, and for the last couple of years or so anything that stimulates the nostalgic part of my brain really seems to grab hold of me. Friday Night Lights(the TV series), and Dazed and Confused are two other examples of nostalgic inducing works that have gripped me recently. This documentary took place in the UK spanning 43 years. It followed the lives of 14 7 year olds from 1963 through the year 2000. It apparently began as an experiment to compare how the lives of those with different socioeconomic backgrounds have their life paths and who they are fairly well entrenched by the time they are 7 years old. I couldn't stop watching this. I found the concept interesting, but I don't think that is why I became so engrossed. I can't really explain why except to say again that it somehow stimulated the nostalgic part of my brain which is extremely sensitive these days. Has anyone else seen this? What did you think?
