Good luck in your future decisions regarding your mother. This has to be one of the toughest decision you will ever have to make and I feel for you. I know that you are a Christian and having that belief helps you know that she will be in a better situation on the other side. That has to be the only positive out of this situation.

Went through something like this with my Grandpa recently who I am very close to. The breathing assistance thing gave me a flashback. Some hope here he was actually higher than 50% assistance I think. We kept talking to him over and over again (large family)(Italian) even though we weren't sure if he even knew what was going on. Just kept telling him he needs to start breathing....start fighting. My grandma (who we call Nana and is from Italy) kept saying "Tone! (his name was Anthony) you get a you ass a up and you come a take a me bowling!....Getta up!" Now that I look back at it...we kinda gave it to him...lol. He must have heard us cause he fought and fought and started taking breaths on his own and eventually was able to leave the hospital. He is going through some tough rehab right now. I know you have no idea who I am and we are in totally different worlds but I just wanted to give you some hope. If you don't give up...she won't either....Good luck DN

In your video post you said your mom signals you that she wants to go home. She wants to live, she believes she's going home, show her you and the rest of the family believe the same.
