Snamuh 0
The league is ESPN 2 team H2H 5x5. I went into the draft with minimal preparation and more or less winged it. I'm pretty disappointed with my mid to late drafting (getting too many SPs in this area too early), as I really shorted myself on my outfield, as well as 2B/SS and 1B/3B.C- Ryan Doumit1B- Miguel Cabrera2B- Alexei Ramirez3B- Aramis RamirezSS- Rafael Furcal1B/3B- Mark Reynolds2B/SS- Jason BartlettOF- Alfonso SorianoOF- Carlos BeltranOF- Brad HawpeOF- Coco CrispOF- Eric ByrnesUtil- Jim ThomeBench- Ryan SpilborghsBench- Jeff ClementBench- Brandon WoodSP- James ShieldsSP- Zack GreinkeSP- Matt GarzaSP- Randy JohnsonSP- Gil MecheSP- Chris YoungRP- BJ RyanRP- Brian FuentesRP- Joel Hanrahan
TB17 0
I think the biggest weakness in your team is that you dont have a lot of upside. There aren't many players that have the ability to do better than their peak. Besides Alexei Ramirez, you pretty much know what you're gonna get from everyone. And while that's good in a sense, its a lot better to have guys that may flourish or flounder.
3A 0
I think your team is pretty solid, although as mentioned a few players with upside on your bench would be ideal. Consider Gaby Sanchez for 1B/3B he doesn't have the power Reynolds has, but he will end up getting you steals and a solid BA to go with it.Watch the waiver later on especially near the trade deadline as I think Mike Gonzalez may get traded if the Braves ren't in contention and that will give Rafeal Soriano his closer job back. I also have a huge sleeper pick at SP, but it looks like you have that covered and he hasn't been drafted in the keeper league yet so I gotta keep a tight wrap on the kid. Orlando Hudson would also be a very servicable 2b/SS if he isn't taken already, which most likely he is in a 10-team mixed league.I also think Spilborghs will out preform Crisp this year if you don't have any other waiver options available. If available Steve Pearce, Daniel Murphy, McCutchen, Colby Rasmus all make fine upside players to sit on your bench for the OF.
TheCinciKid 0
Honestly, I'm not a fan of this team at all. I think TB17 hit the nail on the head in saying that you don't have a lot of upside here. I would add in that you also have a fair amount of downside. I really fear owning guys like Reynolds and Hawpe who strike out a ton (which usually ends up leading to alower avg and no consistency). Thome is old so you don't know what you're gonna get out of him. Furcal is coming off any injury, so it's hard to say what you'll get out of him either. I like Beltran obv, but the rest of the guys are pretty much average outfielders who will give you consistent okay stats, but nothing great.Your pitching is ok with some decent upside guys like Garza, Johnson and Greinke and a solid bullpen, but certainly nothing special. I see this team as likely to finish around the middle of it's league at best. If you're willing to do research and work the waiver wire, you can probably get into the playoffs and anything can happen in the playoffs.
Snamuh 0
I just traded Fuentes for Adrian Beltre, to get some better offensive production, and allowing me to keep Reynolds on the bench. I'll look to grab another closer as the season progresses. Ideally I want to pick up a solid OF as well as I'm really not happy with Byrnes.
3A 0
Chris Duncan in the outfield could be just what you need. He looks hot this spring and they had a crowed outfield, but it looks as though Schumaker is getting moved to 2b and the other outfielder can't think of his name is getting moved to 3b also.Keep an eye on MIL closer situation, it seems as though Hoffman may be out for an extended period of time early. Although he is prolly taken Gregg may take over the closer role in CHC as Marmol has been very mediocre in the WBC.
