king0fhearts80 0
I was playing .10 /.25 micro NL, and someone raised it to 1.25 after i had already called the blind. Based on this persons previous play I knew he had AK or AQ. Flop comes out, and he hits top top, and i got an open ended straight flush draw. I kinda just wanna double up and make him make a bad play by calling.I already looked at the stats, and even before I made this play i knew i was a slight favorite. 53% to like 48%. what do you think. Good move or, play it slower??PokerStars Game #22563369353: Hold'em No Limit ($0.10/$0.25) - 2008/12/02 15:25:05 ETTable 'Betulia' 9-max Seat #4 is the buttonSeat 1: morefun4you ($29.55 in chips) Seat 2: Locuaz1x2 ($28.25 in chips) Seat 3: N.Prinz ($25 in chips) Seat 4: Hitdark ($25.90 in chips) Seat 5: Ken"TheRock" ($23.45 in chips) Seat 6: Skymax1986 ($36.65 in chips) Seat 7: KKHHAAOOSS ($33 in chips) Seat 8: RHY0320 ($28.35 in chips) Seat 9: Jestarr ($24.95 in chips) Ken"TheRock": posts small blind $0.10Skymax1986: posts big blind $0.25*** HOLE CARDS ***Dealt to RHY0320 [3d 4d]KKHHAAOOSS: folds RHY0320: calls $0.25Jestarr: folds morefun4you: folds Locuaz1x2: raises $1 to $1.25 N.Prinz: calls $1.25Hitdark: folds Ken"TheRock": folds Skymax1986: folds RHY0320: calls $1*** FLOP *** [Ks 2d 5d]RHY0320: bets $3Locuaz1x2: raises $6 to $9 N.Prinz: folds RHY0320: raises $18.10 to $27.10 and is all-inLocuaz1x2: calls $18 and is all-in Uncalled bet ($0.10) returned to RHY0320*** TURN *** [Ks 2d 5d] [Ts]*** RIVER *** [Ks 2d 5d Ts] [4c]*** SHOW DOWN ***RHY0320: shows [3d 4d] (a pair of Fours)Locuaz1x2: shows [Kh As] (a pair of Kings)Locuaz1x2 collected $55.25 from pot*** SUMMARY ***Total pot $58.10 | Rake $2.85 Board [Ks 2d 5d Ts 4c]Seat 1: morefun4you folded before Flop (didn't bet)Seat 2: Locuaz1x2 showed [Kh As] and won ($55.25) with a pair of KingsSeat 3: N.Prinz folded on the FlopSeat 4: Hitdark (button) folded before Flop (didn't bet)Seat 5: Ken"TheRock" (small blind) folded before FlopSeat 6: Skymax1986 (big blind) folded before FlopSeat 7: KKHHAAOOSS folded before Flop (didn't bet)Seat 8: RHY0320 showed [3d 4d] and lost with a pair of FoursSeat 9: Jestarr folded before Flop (didn't bet)
king0fhearts80 0
for more info, my bankroll is pretty deep compared to what i was risking. i wasnt really worried to lose it.I just thought if i hit id double up. All or nothing. I guess it was more of a coin flip? only 5% fav over his hand. just wanna know if generally I should play it slower.
SCS 0
Fold preflop. Open limping 34s is bad. I check raise the flop and try to get it in.
LJB723 0
I can't read that. Convert your hand please.I don't give advice, I just read others and bastardise it into my own game. So think of others like me before posting that unintelligable nonsense.EDIT: OK that was slightly harsh. I've read through it now; don't open limp. Normally I'd raise this but not from UTG+1, I'd normally fold. As played c/r flop all-in and hope to Christ he doesn't have AdKd.
Shark527 0
Try and get it in on the flop as a favorite, makes the whole hand a lot easier. Plus, it would be harder for him to get away from it on that board.
pokerinc 0
if you wanna see the river it's best to get it all in on the flop, if you play your hand slow and brick the turn your pot odds for the river get screwed up when he makes a big protection bet.the pre flop isn't a winning play though, that's for sure.
