ltrainkoja55 0
I will be in the San Jose/Carmel California area this weekend. I was wondering if anyone knows if there are poker rooms there. I will be at a wedding and will definitely need to get away in the evenings!!! Thanks

ltrainkoja55 0
thanks alot! I will be in San Jose Sunday and Monday! I will check out bay 101 unless you suggest a different place! I am hoping to find some where in Carmel so I can get have a quick escape. Hey Tanner, is the Bay 101 a hotel as well. I have not yet booked a hotel for Sunday and Monday. Is that even an option. What area do I need to avoid in San Jose? Much appreciated---
king_tanner 84
Not its not a hotel, just a big cardroom... but its right next to the airport so there are a lot of hotels around. Here is a link for hotels close to the cardroom. http://www.bay101.com/accomodations1.htmlI would try Garden City also... its also a large cardroom not far away from Bay 101. http://www.gardencitycasino.com/ I don't know if you are from the area, or what your budget is, but if you want to have a better time or sight see I would recommend that you stay in San Francisco... prob about 30 min north of San Jose without traffic, or somewhere closer to the beach while the nice weather is still here. If you are staying in San Jose I suggest finding a golf course... or going to downtown San Jose where they have all the museums and nice restaurants. There is also an IMAX down there if you want to see a movie. If you have kids around there is Great America and Raging Waters.(edit) Some of the locals might have more suggestions on restaurants and things to do. I live in Santa Cruz which is between Carmel and San Jose.
ltrainkoja55 0
Thanks for the great info! I will be staying in Carmel on Thursday, Fri and Saturday. The wedding party is playing golf at Poppy Hills on Friday. I am thinking about staying in San Franciso. I guess i will do Tourist stuff on Monday. I have a flight at 6 am on Tuesday so I was thinking that staying in San Jose might be best. I am looking at going to play cards and watch Football on Sunday. I do not have kids so it is nice to be able to play it by ear. I really appreciate the information--- with great linksmaybe I will see ya at the tables
