BlunderCheck 0
i was in a casino for the first time and it didnt go so well lol. was there for like 10hours though, just wondering what a typical downswing can be in terms of BBs. (LHE) the rake was 5% i think and a max of the SB+BB.
RabidTortuga 0
50 big bet downswings are not uncommon in LHE. 100 big bet downswings are not particularly rare, either. The swings are more or less the same live as they are online, but it takes longer live because you play fewer hands in the same time period. If you played for 10 hours, you likely played 300-400 hands. I regularly experience 50 big bet swings within 400 hand samples playing online.

Zach6668 513
It doesn't much matter what you sit with, as long as you have 12 BB on the table before the start of each hand (assuming bet+3 raise cap, 15 if you're playing with bet+4 raises), just so that if you flop the supernuts against a lesser nuts you can go capped every street, and you won't miss value by being all in early. Also, if they play no-cap heads up, I'd certainly suggest sitting with more, even if it's rare to get into situations where people will go tons of bets in those spots.Fwiw, I've had a 50 BB downswing in like an hour playing in a ridiculously soft live 3/6 game. It doesn't happen a ton in loose passive games, but it's pretty easy to go a long time without winning a pot, so expect to have some downswings.
Dirtydutch 8
It also really depends on how much you tilt.
