AmScray 355 Posted May 24, 2008 Share Posted May 24, 2008 I'm becoming marginally obsessed with this town and specifically, the work of Earl Young (I'm a big natural stone architecture and construction nut).Has anyone ever been there? Beyond what's on google or the Wikipedia article, any 'inside word' on the place before I make the 6 hour drive? Link to post Share on other sites
nutzbuster 7 Posted May 25, 2008 Share Posted May 25, 2008 That part of Michigan is very nice, albeit fairly touristy. Traverse City, Petosky are the other major towns. Lake Michigan Coastline is a bonus. I love it there, but it's been at least 10 years since Ive been. Link to post Share on other sites
