illegal card clubs in bay area

does anyone know of any card clubs in the bay area, that arent actually run by a company, id like to say illigal but im not a fed, so if anyone knows of any, im the sf bay area, please write back, thanks

I know of a few in the South Bay....Not sure if they are still up and running, but I'm pretty sure there is still one in Gilroy operating. I have to say though, it isn't the safest environment, or at least it wasn't last time I was there.Patrick

There is one called "The Blue Oyster" in San Francisco. You should definitely check it out. I think it is on Castro Street.Use the code word: High TowerTell them "Mahoney" sent you...trust me.

Why on god's green earth would you want to go to an underground cardroom when we have about 10 legal card rooms here? If you are under 21 you can drive 30 minutes to an indian casino where they too have legal poker. If you are under 18 why not just play in home games or on the internet?
