best payout, blind structure for a $125 charity tour

Recommended Posts

I got of got thrown into fixing someone’s mess of a poker tournament and need to know what the best blind structure and payout for a charity tournament. I am not sure also if we should allow rebuys in the first hour? Also if you know how long the tournament would take with that blind structure. (plus or minus)Thanks in advance for helping me out. PS and I am going to buy in to one soon just to see what it is like.

I work for one of these guys On Long Island..I wrote up a 7 hour structure that we use..if you want your tourneys to be shorter I can make some recommendations...Its just too bad Long island poker is shut down for now :(1000 starting chips 1 rebuy until the end of hour 2 than 1 add on at the end of level 3Payouts we dont control....Basically the charity can payout however they please..all we do is provide the tournament...the orginization handles all the money matters, although we do recommend that rebuy and add on money all go toward the prize poolEdit....Just saw this is for 100 people...this structure should be perfect for you1Hr Blinds 25 25-----Break-------30 MinsBlinds 25 5030 Mins Blinds 50 100------Break--------30 minsBlinds 100 20030 minsBlinds 100 200 ante 25-------Break----------30 minsBlinds 150 300 ante 5030 mins Blinds 200 400 ante 50-----Break, color up and chip race-------------20 minsBlinds 300 600 ante 10020 minsBlinds 400 800 ante 10020 minsBlinds 600 1200 ante 200------Break---------20 minsBlinds 800 1600 ante 20020 minsBlinds 1000 2000 ante 30020 minsBlinds 1500 3000 ante 500------Break, color up and chip race----------20 minsBlinds 2500 5000 ante 50020 minsBlinds 4000 8000 ante 100020 minsBlinds 6000 12000 ante 2000If it runs over (but it wont)20 minsBlinds 8000 16000 ante 200020 minsBlinds 10000 20000 ante 300020 mins Blinds 15000 30000 ante 5000
