Zach6668 513
If you're gonna donk the turn, I'm pretty sure it's gotta be a bet/fold.

Really my question is once we see this turn card, do we want to continue to lead (i.e. bet, reraise allin approach) or give up the lead (check/call the turn, in which case, how do we approach the river?). Zach6668 513
You aren't giving up the lead by checking the turn...

sabes99 0
i raise pf, open-limping the button is an extremely weak play and you have to pouncewith no knowledge of villain, i think i fold the flop, the open-limp on the button is done often with suited connectors and such and his small raise on the flop is pretty suspicious...but i don't think i'd ever just call, i'd either fold or make a sizeable re-raise to take it away right then and there, if i felt he was weaki do have to say i prefer bet/fold on the turn than c/c, by leading you force a big draw to pay, if that's what he has, and if he raises then you can fold and possibly lose less than you would have by letting him control the betting

It would have played out so much easier if I had simply raised PF. I pushed the turn, and he called and flipped over J 9 for the flopped flush. There was no runner runner in my books and I doubled the villain up.
