  1. the wsop doesnt take out taxes i talked to matt dean the other day he won 750k 2004and paid taxes in april
  2. I just got back 2 weeks ago and would say there NL game is soft.To me it really depends on what your there for.I was looking for the donkeys who have barley played and if thats what you want i will give you some:Imperial palace-the place is a dump but i walked into a game were they had just finished a "poker lesson" now it was a 2-4 game but in 3 hours i was up $250Flamingo hilton-they pay 10 high hands for the day and alot of bad players cashed about 400there.and the biggest joke is circus circus the worst hotel ever but alot parents who have never played and i raked them after midnight when
  3. I intially limped not wanting to risk alot but even limping 3 others folded and he went allin the sb fold and bb fold and then its on me
  4. no i wasnt big blind but i was the last bet of 10k(no raise) after the BB posted so it came to me to call last meaning everyone folded to me.
  5. oh and yes i tilted off i had about 40k left and the very next hand get 9,9 so of course im on tilt and say allin get called with kq and a k on the turn knocks me out!
  6. as the one who p[layed the hand i will tell you that we playedaround 20 minutes or all theway around atleast twice so the chances of two allins would take awhile.also i was last to act so iwasnt afraid of anyone calling.
  7. I had about 120kthe average stack was 100k and the all in guy was low with 60kand the blinds were 5k and 10k with 500 antether were only 2 people ahead of me at 130k and 135kand the blinds went up every 10 minutes.also your right 7th is the same as 1st you dont even finish once 8th goes out.
  8. i knew i did it right in my head it just suuucked and i wanted to see if anyone thought they could lay it down.I heard on pro and i cant remember who say until youve laid down aces preflopp your not the best player out there.(Something like that)
  9. no i said i think i plyed it right and i do play to win just havent really had that happen to me on the bubble(lost with aces many times) just not when i could win 30 k in the next tournament.and to ansewer questionI had about 120kthe average stack was 100k and the all in guy was low with 60kand the blinds were 5k and 10k with 500 ante
  10. I was playing in a tournament on UB $5 with rebuys and madse it to final table450 players total.the top 7 got seats in $200 buy in tournamnet and 8th place got$50.Here is my delima no one is makeing a move when we get to 8 players because of the bubble and i get dealt aces a guy 2 seats b4 me goes all in for half my satck. What am i to doeasy decision right call well i do and he has AK and the flop comes kk7 for him to be the winner and i evently went out 8th because of the blinds.Could i have possibly folded that hand I am an aggressive player and belive i played it right but on the bubble i
  11. thats just what were the field sizes in the other 9 for both probably not even 500i would guess
  12. I only really mean WSOP i think these 2 are equal to those 10 not his entire body of work.I also think if ivey wins he would maybe considered the best especially if you lookat the beat he too last year.
  13. when i posted this I started to think how much harder it is now to win a single braclet.Think about this if this years wsop was the biggest and some evnts only still had1000 players how many players played in lets say event # 12 (just random) in1984 maybe 100 probably less. So if you win one of those braclets or if 8 out of your10 braclets were won against tiny fields it cant be considered as good as beating 7800 people to win 2.Im sure we all play alot of cards and now matter how good you are its still about catching cards somewhat so maybe greg is lucky but its still will be a great winfor h
  14. I see your point but i am not the only one to think this the guys at cardplayeractually were the first to say it.At the very least it has to be considered hugeif he does it to go back to back.
