  1. Pacific PokerUgh, I know I should have raised preflop for value, even though that thinking might be results oriented.Hero in the BB with Ah 9hCall, call, call, sitting out, call, call, fold, SB completes, Hero (BB) checks.Flop: [3h][9 s][4h]SB checks, Hero bets, call, call, fold, call, call, SB folds.Turn: [7c]Hero betsRiver: [Jh]Hero bets, UTG calls.
  2. You two need to drink some coffee.
  3. Because I just posted on the table, which means I didn't want to wait until the blinds came around to post. And I can't bet. It WAS bet.
  4. Because when facing a bet, 0.0000 of the time can You bet. You can raise, You can call, You can even fold (although ridiculous), but You can't bet.If it was checked to me, I would bet.
  5. Hero posts and gets Ac 3dFolds... Hero (CO) checks, Button calls, SB completes, BB checksFlop: [7s][As][8d]SB checks, BB bets, Hero?No reads.
  6. Cool RunningsThat one IS a sports movie, I think.Well, Carrie is too if telekinesis is a sport.
  7. Yeah this hand I should have done different (better). If I had a do-over, I would have lead on the turn and hope to get a call before the donk. Leading on the flop and how I did it I think would have resulted in the same, profit-wise.I forgot to note that the donk wasn't a maniac, so he wouldn't be raising all the time. So if I lead out on the flop, it didn't mean he would autoraise. Sometimes he folded too.So, I didn't want to lead out, then just get called on the flop. EP was the preflop raiser (and he was right after me to act), so I figured he would lead out, and I could check-raise... but

  9. Hero on the BB with Ad-4d.MP+2 is a donk.Fold, EP raises... MP+1 calls, Donk calls... Hero (BB) calls.Flop: [4h][4c][10d]Hero checks, EP calls, MP+1 calls.Turn: [7 h]Hero checks, Donk calls.RIver: [8 s]Hero bets, Donk calls.Comments?
  10. Just post some of them here. 2 or 3 at a time.
  11. Call and then call the river. If he checks river, bet.
  12. I charge 4.00 for 50 hands.500, I'll give You a discount.
  13. Looks alright. He could have been raising a Q and got scared that the K showed up on the turn, OR he could have been doing a free card move with a gutshot draw, checking the turn, OR um something else. I think a call is ok, You'll win the pot more than 1 in 7 times, even if it might be a little bit more, like 2 in 7 times.

  15. When did flushes start beating full houses?Hehe.
  16. This is what I think happened. BB had 10, 10. CO had A-J with a flush draw on the turn... and You folded the best hand on the turn? I know, I'm wrong.
  17. It's close I think. What's the BB like? He's the one that capped it pre-flop and raised on the flop. It's PP, but if it's a good opponent, it could be A-A or J-J. The slim chance that it's A-A or J-J, the 4 outer to K, K, 8, 8 becomes a 2 outer to just K and K and correct math dicates a fold. If the BB is a donk (since it's PP so who knows), it's close. The pot is big, 10-1 on the call, and 46-4 on a definite winner. It's complicated, but I'd think it depends on what kind of opponent the BB is. Ah shit You wrote no reads...I missed it. Hmm, ok. I won't go back and erase... but it's a tough one
  18. Wow, I'm a moron. I missed that it was 6 handed. I thought it was a full table... disregard previous post, well where I said I'd just call K-J os. Thus, I would have done the same thing I think, as Aseem. To elaborate, I mean that if we raised and got 3 bet, with the BB posting 1.00 and leaving it dead, we now have odds to call the flop bet (and besides he's a maniac right?)... then on the turn, assuming he doesn't have the ace, we have odds again to call. And on the river, well, might as well look his maniac ass up.So what did he have? I'll guess 8-J suited.
  19. Raising the turn? It's possible that one of those PP donks is betting the 7, the whole table is in that hand. It's not the worst raise ever, but it's bad.
  20. Just because he's a maniac doesn't mean he doesn't have K-J beat. That's how maniacs get paid off. Don't let a maniac be a transfer medium for You to lose cash to other opponents' stacks. But the hand looks alright. I wouldn't raise with K-J os in MP though.I think the right thing to do, for ex in this hand, call K-J, and then call the auto raise. Fold the flop without getting the right odds. Yes he's a maniac, but that just means when You have a good hand You'll get paid off, and when You have a great hand, You'll get paid off a lot, that is if this maniac just keeps betting and raising, and
  21. We agree this time.EDIT: I didn't realize how much was in the pot before it got to Aseem on the flop, so it's not a bad move in terms of math. I think its 7-1 or 8-1 or something on a 3 bet for a straight draw. I wouldn't make the move though. The preflop call is still bad.
  22. I don't have poker tracker but I'm assuming the 14 meant he was a maniac?
  23. Raising is not an option. Never. Aseem, looks alright. You made the crying call.
