Im with Abba. A month to play 1,000 hands? Thats like my Sunday afternoon.
-
First, I believe there should be (6 SB) PF if you raised? Its not a bad play to c/r the flop then bet the turn. If no one bets the flop and you bet the turn, you reduce the pot odds for the straight/flush draw. Without any history, I dont put them on KQ. And if someone flopped two pair and didnt reraise flop or turn oh well. B/C the river and let the J9 and 88 call you.
-
Yeah, it appears he wants to showdown as cheap as possible. Maybe hit a weak A.Question: do you call a raise behind you PF?
-
nothing special...just need more hands!

Yeah, that is weird -
I just think these are the pots that cost us. Optimally, you are 2.8:1 to make your hand. But you cant be 100% sure he didnt make his straight on the turn or has a higher flush draw or is drawing to the same straight, so you have to discount a few of your outs. I check/fold, I dont want to put anymore money in this pot HU.

This is the ultimate donk play. I can't believe I witnessed this. Just study carefully and laugh at the end!Ultimate Bet 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cxPreflop: Hero is UTG+2 with 5:club:, Q:heart:. 6 folds, Button calls.Flop: (9.50 SB) J:club:, Q:club:, T:club: (2 players)CO bets, Button calls.Turn: (6.75 BB) K:club: (2 players)CO checks, Button bets CO calls.River: (8.75 BB) A:club: (2 players)CO checks, Button bets, CO raises, Button folds.Final Pot: 12.75 BBAfter this, the button says,"I didn't have a club, I couldnt call."

I would check, I find myself wasting money to win these small pots. Like you said, your out might be dirty
-
With no hand histories, I think you have the best hand. Bet the river and that 78 and KJ will call one bet.
-
Wow, not too freaking shabby
-
Thats good for a chuckle

It would be easier if you had some history on the guy. Does he always limp with JT or KQ UTG? I say you call down, you have to win this what-around 10% of the time? With no history, you couldnt be over 90% sure as to what he has, dont assume the worse. But why didnt you reraise the flop?

The past 2 weekends I played at night on fri and sat and did better than I normally do through the week. Just wanting to know if you guys find the same to be true and why? More drinking and more players in general?

Looking at PT I have played 38% of hands that have been dealt to me.If you are VP$IP at 38% after a few thousand hands, you are too loose IMO.
