  1. I WOULD LIKE TO BE A CAPTAIN PLS KTHXbtw my team staking deal is 70/30 not this 50/50 businesslunch, do i look like a sucker
  2. lolthat hand really looks like he has the nuts, that's a very disciplined laydown and I'm impressed that you made it. I'm not sure if it's correct but it's close, if I were actually playing the hand I would probably want to fold but then call bc I'm a station
  3. cts has not run anywhere near 10ptbb/100 longterm. As you play more you'll realize how many hands you really need to be confident in your winrate (it's a lot). To put things in perspective, cts has said he has had 100k hand breakeven stretches and 100k hand 10ptbb/100+ stretches.8ptbb/100 is sustainable at 200nl, but probably not by anyone who plays 200nl
  4. Checking the flop is 100% standard, you have the board completely crushed and betting does nothing unless you think someone is going to stack off with 77 or whatever.
  5. Dunno if I'm the one being leveled now, but PF does not play under DaEvils, that's just a joke
  6. Yeah they do as of Thursday I believe, only up to 5/10 for the timebeingTeddy, you make this thread worth reading
  7. 2p2 thing that I believe started out as a joke, but referred to the 4 most feared nlhe players on party ( other 3 were samoleus, bldswttrs, lolotrickedu)
  8. fyi, gamble4you is B Buddy, he has legendary tilt sessions but is a strong player when he's playing his A game and was one of the 4 dragons on party
  9. It's villain dependent, calling the flop is probably better than raisingThe big mistake you made in the hand was preflop, tiny reraises = teh suck
  10. checking behind on the turn is no goot, if you're going to do that don't flatcall AA preflopAs for the hand I fold the turn since he's unknown. I really doubt anyone is playing AQ/KK like this for value without some history, they won't assume you are going to stack off with a Q for 160bb. Given this, our hand isn't underrepped at all. When we bet the turn we're repping a Q or better, and our hand is only very marginally better than KQ here.
  11. jesus christ teddy what kind of nitfest is 1/2 where people fold top two and don't value bet sets on the river. What the hell is the point of even raising the turn if you don't want to get value from your hand. Get the dadgum money in on the turn
  12. Mark, remember what Steve told us about downswings being a mix of bad play and running bad.I understand wanting to vent and post bad beats/coolers in these threads, but I really feel like it's counterproductive. You'd be better off posting the plays that you're most embarrassed of because it keeps your focus in the right place and will drive you to play better. Especially when you are running really poorly, you don't want to be thinking about the beats you took or the coolers after your session is over. Not doing so keeps you in the right mindset and helps you avoid dwelling on things beyo
  13. Thanks for all the support guys!! Really appreciated Busting out sucks, and that was a tough hand to do it on. 3 handed basically consisted of mattg hanging back and blinding himself down and me and varico battling it out. I figured with mattg getting so short one of us would eventually catch him and bust him and I wanted to stay aggressive to set myself up to have a good shot at winning HU. The seating was working against me as I was OOP against varico 2 out of 3 hands, but that's how it goes and $35k is a nice payday. After some of the beats I put on people (K2 > AK and 99 all in pf
